Recent Booking: Short Film – For Junior

    Yanelba booked a supporting role in For Junior, a thesis short film written and directed by Kareem O’Brian.

    The project is inspired by the life and legacy of Lesandro (Junior) Guzman-Feliz, a 15-year-old kid from the Bronx whose story touched many hearts.

      Yanelba booked a supporting role in the Dominican-American short film, Lo que Pasó, Pasó written and directed by Danny Jiminian.

      The production team is currently crowdfunding and has reached 61% of their fundraising goal.

      Developmental Reading: Play – My Mother the Sun

        Last week, Yanelba spent three days in Manhattan, serving as an actor in a closed reading of the play MY MOTHER THE SUN written by Parity Development Award Winner Paloma Monfiletto. It was Yanelba’s first time participating in such capacity and she really enjoyed working with everyone involved.

        Live Performance in Jersey City, NJ – March 29th, 2025

          Yanelba was invited to participate in HerStory 2025, an oratory play celebrating Women’s History Month. The event is being presented by Council President Joyce E. Watterman and Art House Productions. The event is being held on the evening of March 29, 2025 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The event is featured on Broadway World and New Jersey Stage. Yanelba will be reading “First Generation” written by Kayla Khaled, the first Latina elected to serve as an NEA Board Director.
